It still asks me to login to the keychain after 3 mins so maybe that expires.Damana Maddenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00506368430609135921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144813210603379421.post-87191490837170151032008-03-17T13:14:00.000+11:002008-03-17T13:14:00.000+11:00Not that I'm trying to save notes from the hell it...Not that I'm trying to save notes from the hell it deserves, but there's no way you'd be able to view, send or receive emails without supplying the passphrase for your ID file.

What you'll probably find is that you have the notes ID passphrase saved in your keychain. Hence it has access to it when it starts up.

I've done this too, because apples keychain implementation is quite secure and I don't like having to type a password when starting notes. But I have noticed that notes sometimes re-locks itself again (probably when the keychain autolocks), forcing you to re-authenticate.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13248588896336951819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144813210603379421.post-86014127171095610662008-03-07T15:17:00.000+11:002008-03-07T15:17:00.000+11:00... and then the user just "blotus" away!... and then the user just "blotus" away!CRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08023577251560492042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144813210603379421.post-45445627682683161842008-03-07T08:49:00.000+11:002008-03-07T08:49:00.000+11:00Compared with Notes? It would be a little short sighted to ban an awesome machine because of dodgy ten year old software plus the mac is secure (even if Notes isn't) :o)

DK, Outlook? :)Damana Maddenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00506368430609135921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144813210603379421.post-7316843035063489442008-03-07T08:23:00.000+11:002008-03-07T08:23:00.000+11:00Ah, Lotus Notes. Open Source weenies may whinge and complain about Microsoft, but when it comes to email/calendaring at work, you cannot beat Outlook.David Keavenyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07944978161341604262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144813210603379421.post-60173474757905642008-03-07T05:16:00.000+11:002008-03-07T05:16:00.000+11:00Oh oh.
